David Truong – Optometrist

David Truong is the founder of Beyond Eyecare, established in 2020. He focuses on delivering high-quality, personalized optometry services with a strong commitment to patient care. David emphasizes tailored solutions for each individual, using advanced technology and the latest research. His expertise includes myopia control and rigid contact lenses, helping patients manage their vision effectively. David is also highly skilled in tackling complex prescriptions, ensuring even the most challenging visual needs are addressed with precision and care.
Outside of his professional life, David is passionate about fitness, sports, and golf, applying the same level of dedication to his hobbies as he does to his work.

Raymond Lau – Optometrist

Raymond Lau began his career working alongside David Truong and has spent the last three years in rural optometry, where he developed a deep expertise in managing a wide range of ocular conditions. He has a special interest in glaucoma, as well as the pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical management of anterior eye diseases. Raymond’s fluency in both Mandarin and Cantonese allows him to effectively communicate with a diverse patient base. Outside of optometry, he has a passion for flying and is working toward becoming a pilot.

Christina Du – Optometrist

Born and raised in New Zealand, Christina was inspired to pursue optometry by her older sister, who shares the same profession. She has a keen interest in managing dry eye and acute eye conditions, and is passionate about providing thorough, compassionate care to every patient. Outside the clinic, Christina loves keeping active with running and CrossFit, and has a passion for fashion and music, always bringing a vibrant energy to everything she does. She is fluent in Mandarin.
